In a landmark event for climate sustainability in Africa, Dr. Prince Alvin Kwabena Ansah and Ghana Link Network Services Limited (GLNSL) emerged notable winners at the inaugural African Sustainability Awards (ASA), held under the theme “Honoring Excellence in Climate Action and Sustainable Innovation.”

The awards, which spotlight contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), celebrated the efforts of leaders and organizations driving sustainable practices across the continent.

Dr. Ansah, A Visionary in IT and Sustainability

Dr. Prince Alvin Kwabena Ansah was honoured with the Outstanding Leadership Award for his pioneering work in information technology and sustainable innovation.

The African Sustainability Awards, organized by Globe Productions Limited in partnership with The African Festival (TAG) and supported by the Embassy of Spain in Ghana and UNESCO, spotlighted contributions across sectors such as energy, finance, and policy.

In addition to Dr. Ansah and GLNSL, the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID) and the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) were also recognized.

EBID was named Financial Institution of the Year for its climate financing initiatives, while NPA earned the title of Oil and Gas Firm of the Year for sustainable energy practices.
