The management team of Esther Smith has issued a clarification regarding recent social media reports alleging that Pastor Elvis Agyemang of Alpha Hour demanded or received money in exchange for prayers.
In a statement released today, Esther Smith’s management described the claims as false, misleading, and a gross distortion of facts.

The statement emphasized that during all engagements with Pastor Agyemang and the Alpha Hour team, interactions were conducted with respect, dignity, and genuine pastoral care. It affirmed that no amount of money was ever requested, demanded, or charged for prayers, and that adequate security and support were consistently provided.
“Pastor Elvis Agyemang has demonstrated consistent character, accountability, and transparency, and he remains a leader who can be trusted. Any narratives portraying him otherwise are inaccurate and should be disregarded,” the statement said.
Esther Smith’s management urged the public, Alpha Hour followers, and media practitioners to disregard speculation, sensational headlines, and misrepresentations circulating on social media. They further called on journalists and bloggers to verify facts before publishing content that could mislead the public or harm reputations.
The statement concluded by affirming that the clarification was issued in the interest of truth, clarity, and peace.
