After hearing rumors that his son had shot and killed his girlfriend, the father of well-known Ghanaian TikToker Hayford Boateng, also known as GH Kobby, has made a strong and heartfelt statement.
As reported earlier, Yaa Baby, also known as Philipa Frimpong, died tragically in Yeji as a result of the incident.
GH Kobby, Yaa Baby, and two other people, Kwadwo Emmanuel and Michael Kabutey, were spotted eating together just before the fatal shooting, according to reports.
A video of GH Kobby’s father has recently gone viral on social media. He adamantly declared in it that his son must answer for his deeds.
To express his sympathies and ask for patience while the community deals with the tragedy, the distraught father went to Yaa Baby’s family home.

“We should give thanks to God because He knows what He is doing. Based on what has happened, I plead with all of you to calm down so we can peacefully bury [Yaa Baby]. As for my son, wherever he is right now, it’s good,” he mentioned.
“Yaa Baby didn’t deserve to die, so wherever my son is, he should also stay there. I hope the family will allow us to be involved in the burial ceremony,” he added.
He also revealed that there has been no success in moving Yaa Baby’s body from Yeji to Kumasi.
“I received a call from Yeji, and I wanted the child’s body to be transferred to Kumasi, but the police investigator says they can’t travel from Kumasi for investigations,” he clarified.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding Yaa Baby’s untimely death are still ongoing, despite mounting calls for a comprehensive examination.
