Nollywood actor Yul Edochie is making headlines once again after a controversial post on social media regarding DNA tests.
On February 21, Mr. Edochie shared his thoughts on Instagram, claiming that any woman who refuses a DNA test for her child when requested is “hiding something.”
The post read: “Any woman who refuses to do DNA test on her child when it is demanded, is hiding something. Don’t fall for any excuse she gives to you. She is hiding something. A clear conscience fears nothing.”
As expected, the statement sparked a heated debate online. While some social media users supported his perspective, others criticized the actor, pointing out the contradictions in his own personal life, especially his publicized split from his first wife, May Edochie, and his controversial second marriage.
Yul’s personal life has been under the microscope in recent years. His once-stable marriage to May, with whom he has four children, was shattered in April 2022 when he introduced Judy Austin as his second wife, revealing the birth of their son. This revelation deeply hurt May, who filed for divorce in 2023, citing emotional distress and public humiliation.
