The Tobinco Media Group has officially launched its much-anticipated Heritage Connect initiative at the Sika Hall of the Group’s headquarters.

At exactly 7:00 a.m., guests began arriving to the vibrant sounds of cultural troupes drumming and dancing to rhythms that celebrated Ghana’s rich heritage. Among the early arrivals were politicians, entrepreneurs, leaders of the Tobinco Group, and representatives of various ethnic groups across the country.

The event is being hosted by Bright Nana Amfoh of Bullet TV and Nana Ama Gyamfua of Atinka TV, who are steering proceedings with energy and flair.

Executive Director of the Tobinco Group, Ms. Abigail Tobbin, stated that the initiative aligns with the Group’s corporate vision, “intentionally advancing both Ghanaian and national progress”. She emphasized that the program highlights institutional priorities such as authentic Ghanaian storytelling, the promotion of local industries, and the strengthening of traditional institutions.

Ms. Tobbin further reaffirmed the Media Group’s commitment to ethical leadership in journalism, noting its role in “setting the tone for reflection, pride, innovation, and unity, while advancing culture through business.”

Organizers say the launch is designed to give Ghanaians especially young people an opportunity to learn, relearn, and embrace the nation’s cultural identity. They believe Heritage Connect will serve as a platform to deepen appreciation for Ghana’s traditions while inspiring pride in the country’s diverse heritage.
