Ghanaian rapper Armstrong Affum, popularly known as Opanka, rose to prominence after a widely acclaimed freestyle on the hit song “Simple” by Bradez.

He later released his debut single, “Taste,” which received positive reviews from music lovers.

Upon his recent visit to the Tobinco Media Group, Opanka granted an interview to Miss Melody on Atinka Television, where he addressed circulating rumors suggesting that he had quit music.

The rapper clarified that his absence from the music scene was due to his decision to travel to the United States to further his education.

According to him, balancing education, music, and family responsibilities can be extremely stressful, which informed his choice to focus on his studies at the time.

Opanka, however, emphasized that he has not abandoned music. “I have released a new single titled ‘No Mercy,’” he revealed.

He further appealed to Ghanaians to continue supporting his music by streaming his songs across all digital platforms, as he works towards reaching the pinnacle of his career.
