Renowned evangelist Rev. Dr. Lawrence Nene Kofi Tetteh has hailed the growing international influence of Atinka and Bullet TV, declaring that the brand’s audience now extends far beyond Ghana’s borders.

Speaking at the first anniversary celebration of Bullet TV, a subsidiary of the Tobinco Media Group, he revealed that the stations command a significant following in Australia, where he had just returned from.

“I was amazed at the number of people in Australia who watch me on Atinka,” -he said. “Don’t think you will remain here—Atinka is bigger than Ghana. Bullet is bigger than Ghana. You are ambassadors of this great heritage.”

Rev. Tetteh emphasized the essential role of media in uniting people from diverse backgrounds, noting that information shapes a person’s attitude, speech and worldview.

He praised Atinka and Bullet TV for becoming powerful platforms capable of bringing audiences from “different shapes, colors, and sizes” together under one voice.

Reflecting on the evolution of the network, he recalled the early days during the COVID-19 pandemic when English-language programming was first introduced on Atinka—a step he believes helped expand its global appeal.

“The seed I saw has grown,” he said, commending the bold decision to open up the station’s horizon to international audiences.

He also celebrated the vision and generosity of Tobinco Group Executive Chairman, Elder Samuel Amo Tobbin, whose “selflessness,” he said, has helped build a media brand capable of reaching the world.

Rev. Tetteh prayed for continued wisdom, good health and strength for the chairman, urging staff to uphold their responsibility to build a better Ghana, Africa and world.

“We have a collective responsibility,” he concluded. “Do it as though you are doing it for yourself, and for the generations who will inherit what you build.”
