Ghana has formally welcomed a new group of distinguished envoys who have begun their diplomatic assignments in the country, marking another phase in the strengthening of bilateral and multilateral relations between Ghana and several partner nations across Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
The announcement was made on Tuesday June 16, 2026, by Ghana’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, who shared a congratulatory message outlining the arrival and accreditation of the new Heads of Mission.
In his remarks, the minister extended warm felicitations to the envoys, describing their deployment as an important step in deepening cooperation between Ghana and their respective countries. The new diplomats are expected to play key roles in advancing political dialogue, economic partnerships, trade relations, cultural exchange, and development cooperation.

H. E Isabeth Lisbeth Quiel Murcia, Ambassador of the Republic of Panama to Ghana
H. E Armen Sargsyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Ghana
H. E Selestine Gervas Kakele, Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania to Ghana
Their accreditation underscores Ghana’s continued role as a key diplomatic hub in West Africa, hosting a wide range of international missions that contribute to its foreign policy objectives.
