The Group Executive Management of Tobinco Group of Companies has announced the launch of the Tobinco Group Health Walk, a wellness program designed for all subsidiaries under the Group. The maiden edition is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, with the route spanning Ayi Mensah to Peduase.

The initiative has two primary objectives: first, to strengthen staff health and fitness for enhanced productivity, and second, to promote and create public awareness about the School of Medicine, Dentistry, and Nursing at the Entrance University of Health Sciences (EUHS).

Activities Planned
The health walk will feature a series of fitness activities designed to benefit both staff and participants, promoting physical exercise and team spirit. These include:
– Warm-up session at Ayi Mensah Police Station
– Hiking up to Peduase
– Aerobic at Peduase
– Slow jogging or brisk walking back to Ayi Mensah
– Cooling down session
– Refreshments for all participants
The program will officially end with a departure time set for 10:30 a.m.

Speaking on the importance of the health walk, the Group emphasized that employee well-being is central to productivity and sustainable growth. Beyond that, the exercise also doubles as a public engagement effort to raise awareness for the Entrance University of Health Sciences, particularly its Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, and Nursing, which remain central to advancing healthcare education in Ghana.
The Tobinco Group Health Walk is expected to attract hundreds of staff, health enthusiasts, and community members along the Ayi Mensah-Peduase stretch, creating an atmosphere of wellness, networking, and collective purpose.
