Priority Insurance, a subsidiary of the Tobinco Group of Companies, has cut sod for the construction of a six-storey ultra-modern corporate office complex valued at US$10 million at North Ridge in Accra.
The project forms part of efforts to expand the company’s workforce and operations nationwide, improve service delivery to clients, and enhance its overall financial performance.

The sod-cutting ceremony, held over the weekend, brought together management and staff of Priority Insurance, members of the clergy from the Church of Pentecost, the Board Chairman of Priority Insurance, Mr. Frank Oppong Yeboah, and the Chairman of the Tobinco Group, Elder Dr. Samuel Nana Amo Tobin I, accompanied by his wife, Mama Sika Araba Tobin.
The fully furnished six-storey corporate office is expected to commence shortly and is scheduled for completion within two years.
Addressing the gathering, Apostle Dr. Dieudonne Komla Nuekpe, Area Head of the Church of Pentecost, La Area, said the sod-cutting symbolised God’s presence and divine oversight over the land and the project. He encouraged management and staff to work in unity to sustain Priority Insurance’s reputation as a preferred insurance provider.

Managing Director of Priority Insurance, Mr. Faris Elias Affrickie, in an interview with journalist Yaw Preko, explained that the new office complex would position the company to better serve its growing client base and support future expansion.
With an initial investment of US$5 million, Priority Insurance has recorded steady growth and now operates more than 32 branches across the country, enhancing accessibility and service delivery nationwide.
As part of the ceremony, Elder Dr. Samuel Nana Amo Tobin I led management to donate GH¢100,000 to the Church of Pentecost, Dr. Wyatt Assembly, as a symbolic seed for God’s protection and guidance over the project.
