The National Service Authority has released PIN codes for 18,617 eligible nurses and midwives to enable them to enrol for the 2026/27 national service year.

In a press release issued on Monday May 25, 2026, the Authority said the PIN codes were generated after the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana submitted a list of qualified candidates who successfully passed the August/September 2025 licensing examinations.

According to the statement, all eligible nurses and midwives are expected to access their PIN codes through the NSA portal using their student ID numbers and dates of birth.

The Authority stated that prospective service personnel must pay a registration fee of GH₵82 via Mobile Money across all networks before they can access the enrolment platform.

The NSA announced that the enrolment exercise officially commenced on Sunday, May 23, 2026, and will end on Friday, June 5, 2026.

Management has therefore urged all eligible applicants to complete their online registration within the stipulated period to avoid missing the deadline.

The Authority also reminded the public that under Section 29(1) of the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), only Ghanaian citizens who have completed a course of study at a tertiary institution are qualified to undertake national service.

The NSA encouraged all affected personnel to visit its official portal for further information and completion of the registration process.
