First Lady Lordina Mahama has commended the Ghana Police Service for what she described as a swift and professional response in the recovery of a baby stolen from the Mamprobi Polyclinic.
In a statement, Mrs. Mahama praised the police for the prompt arrest of the suspect and for ensuring the safe return of the baby to her family.
“I commend the Ghana Police Service for their swift and professional response in apprehending the suspect and ensuring the safe return of the baby stolen from Mamprobi Polyclinic,” she said.
Expressing relief at the outcome, the First Lady added that she was grateful the child had been reunited with her biological mother.
“I am relieved that the stolen baby has been reunited with her biological mother,” she noted.
The incident, which sparked public concern, has renewed calls for strengthened security measures at health facilities. Meanwhile, the successful operation by the police has been widely welcomed as a demonstration of effective law enforcement and commitment to public safety.
