The Tobinco Media Group (TMG) has appointed seasoned broadcaster and communications expert Odelia Ntiamoah Boampong as its new Managing Director, signaling a major leadership boost for the media conglomerate as it restructures and repositions for growth.
Odelia, who is widely respected across Ghana’s media and business circles, brings to the role over two decades of experience in journalism, broadcasting, and strategic communications across Africa and the international arena.

She began her career as a student journalist at Radio Universe while studying at the University of Ghana, before joining Citi FM and later TV3 Network, where she rose to prominence as one of Ghana’s most influential broadcasters. She has also served as Ghana correspondent for Euronews (Africa News) and produced compelling documentaries for organizations such as the World Bank, IFDC, and Ghana’s Ministries of Education, Energy, and Environment.

In addition to her broadcasting career, Odelia has served as a communications consultant for global and regional organizations including the World Bank, Ecowas Bank, AfCFTA, USAID, GIZ, UN agencies, and multinational corporations, helping to shape communication strategies that have reached millions.

She is also the founder of the Oxford Africa Women Leadership Institute, an NGO that empowers women in entrepreneurship have access to finance, market and technical support

Odelia, who is currently pursuing a PhD in Marketing with a focus on Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility, holds a master’s degree in Oil and Gas Communication from the University of Cape Coast and a bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of Ghana. She has received international training from DW Akademie (Germany), Bloomberg (USA), and is a fellow of the U.S. State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) in investigative journalism.
Her outstanding work has earned her multiple awards, including two Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Awards and the Minister’s Award for Environmental Reporting.

The Tobinco Media Group also announced the appointment of other key executives to support its renewed growth drive:

– Christian Nana Akomea Marfo, Deputy Managing Director – Atinka TV and Head of Technical (TMG)

– Sandra Nana Adwoa Annan, Deputy Managing Director – Bullet TV

– Albert Johnson (Odefour Di Asa Paapa), Deputy Managing Director – FM Stations (Atinka FM, Agyenkwa FM, Ahotor FM)

Under her leadership, TMG aims to strengthen its presence in Ghana’s competitive media space through innovation, content excellence, and digital transformation.
