Antoine Semenyo, a forward for Ghana, has been nominated for the English Premier League Player of the Season Award for 2025–2026.

Together with colleague Erling Haaland, the 26-year-old is one of two Manchester City players nominated for the esteemed accolade.

Six other players, including the Arsenal quartet of Declan Rice, Gabriel Magalhaes, and custodian David Raya, have been nominated for the top prize.

With two games left in the season, Haaland is in the race to earn his second award after scoring 26 goals and dishing out eight assists in 34 league games during the 2022–2023 season.

In contrast, Semenyo has 16 goals and four assists in 35 league outings, including one in Man City’s midweek 3-0 victory against Crystal Palace.

Before finalising a deal with Man City during the January transfer window, the Black Stars player began the season with AFC Bournemouth.

Since joining Man City, he has won the Carabao Cup, and on Saturday, May 16, Man City will play Chelsea in the FA Cup final.

With two points behind league leaders Arsenal, Man City has a chance to win the league.
