Real Madrid delivered a dominant display at the Santiago Bernabéu, dismantling AS Monaco 6–1 in their UEFA Champions League group-stage encounter.
Kylian Mbappé set the tone early, scoring a first-half brace as Los Blancos overwhelmed the visitors with pace, precision, and relentless attacking play. The French forward’s intelligent movement and ruthless finishing proved far too much for Monaco’s defence to contain.
Vinícius Júnior was equally outstanding, tormenting the Monaco backline with his speed, skill, and creativity. The Brazilian winger capped a superb performance with a stunning solo goal and supplied multiple assists, creating constant danger throughout the match.

Real Madrid’s dominance was further reflected on the scoresheet with goals from Franco Mastantuono, an own goal by Thilo Kehrer following a dangerous Vinícius cross, and a late strike from Jude Bellingham to complete the emphatic victory.
The highlight of the night came in the 63rd minute, when Vinícius unleashed a spectacular, thunderous strike into the top-right corner of the net.
The Bernabéu erupted as fans chanted his name, with the winger celebrating alongside new head coach Álvaro Arbeloa. It marked Vinícius’ first goal at the stadium since early October.
Speaking after the match, Arbeloa praised the bond between the player and the supporters.
“I think that more than embracing me, Vinícius was embracing all Real Madrid fans around the globe,” Arbeloa told Movistar Plus.
“Everyone is pleased about the partnership between Vini and the fans, and we are going to enjoy Vini here for a long time.”
The emphatic win strengthens Real Madrid’s position in the group. It sends a clear warning to their Champions League rivals, as the Mbappé–Vinícius partnership continues to light up Europe’s biggest stage.
