The Executive Chairman of the Tobinco Group of Companies, Elder Nana Amo Tobbin I, has urged graduates of the Tobinco Pharmaceuticals Training Institute (TPTI) to embrace humility, integrity, and hard work as they step into the pharmaceutical profession.

Speaking at the 1st TPTI Alumni Conference and Inauguration of New Executives, Elder Tobbin encouraged the alumni to start small and remain committed to ethical practices.

“We began by hawking drugs on the streets. With faith and determination, Tobinco is now a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer across West Africa,” – he said.

He officially welcomed the alumni into the Tobinco Group, assuring them of opportunities including employment, business partnerships, licensing support, and credit facilities.

“From today, you are part of the Tobinco family. Our doors are open to support you,” he assured.
Elder Tobbin cautioned against unethical practices in the field, especially prioritizing profit over patient welfare.
“Work with honesty and the fear of God. Don’t sell for gain at the expense of lives,” – he warned.

He also urged alumni to promote locally made Entrance Pharmaceuticals products, noting their quality and importance to national development. The event marked a milestone for TPTI, which was established to train skilled pharmaceutical professionals for Ghana and beyond.
