Tobinco Pharmaceuticals Ltd has been crowned Best Company – Pharmaceuticals Sector at the 14th Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) Ghana Industry & Quality Awards, held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
The prestigious event brought together leading figures in government and industry, and was graced by the Vice President of the Republic, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, alongside the Minister of Trade and Industry, Elizabeth Ofosu Agyare.

Held under the theme “Creating a Conducive Business Environment and Quality Standards for Industrial Competitiveness in a 24-Hour Economy,” the awards celebrated companies that have demonstrated excellence, innovation, and commitment to quality in Ghana’s industrial landscape.

Tobinco Pharmaceuticals emerged as the standout performer in the pharmaceutical category, earning praise for its consistent contribution to healthcare delivery and industrial development. The company’s official citation highlighted its broad impact across multiple sectors:

According to the AGI, Tobinco’s award reflects not only its leadership within the pharmaceutical sector but also its growing regional influence and commitment to expanding access to high-quality medicines.
The ceremony also emphasized the need for stronger industrial frameworks to support Ghana’s envisioned 24-hour economy, with dignitaries urging industry players to uphold quality standards while innovating for global competitiveness.
