Silver Star Auto Limited, Ghana’s leading automotive distributor, has officially unveiled the Peugeot 3008 and the latest Peugeot Landtrek Pickup, marking a significant milestone in innovation and expansion within Ghana’s automotive industry.
The launch underscores Silver Star Auto’s strong presence in the Ghanaian market, where it operates nationwide outlets dedicated to the sales and servicing of Peugeot vehicles.
The unveiling event highlighted the advanced interior and exterior designs of both vehicles, showcasing premium features such as massage seats, an inbuilt cooler box that functions as a refrigerator, powerful engine performance, and impressive fuel efficiency.
Speaking at the launch, the Sales and Brand Manager of Silver Star Auto, Madam Harriet Asafoagyei, described the introduction of the new models as a major boost to the local automotive sector.
“The launch of these vehicles represents a significant milestone in Ghana’s automotive industry. They are designed to meet the evolving needs of the Ghanaian market,” she said.
Madam Asafoagyei further revealed that both the Peugeot 3008 and the Peugeot Landtrek Pickup are locally assembled in Ghana, a move that reduces VAT and other import-related taxes, making the vehicles more affordable for customers. She encouraged Ghanaians to visit Silver Star Auto showrooms across the country to experience the vehicles firsthand and make their purchases.
Providing a live demonstration, Sales Supervisor Iddriss Mohammed took guests through the standout features of the Peugeot 3008, highlighting its robust engine, excellent fuel economy, massage functionality, cold box, and other advanced technological features.
The launch reaffirms Silver Star Auto’s commitment to supporting Ghana’s automotive industry by promoting local assembly, enhancing affordability, and making premium vehicles more accessible to consumers nationwide.
