Samuel Nartey George, Ghana’s Minister for Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations, has dismissed Mr. Kwadwo Gyamfi Osafo-Mafo from his position as Director of Cyber Security at the National Communications Authority (NCA).
In a letter signed by Chief Director Alexander Yaw Arphul, Osafo-Mafo was informed that his appointment had been terminated with immediate effect.
He has been instructed to hand over his responsibilities to the Acting Director General of the NCA.
The letter also noted that, in accordance with the terms of his contract, Osafo-Mafo will receive three months’ salary in lieu of notice.
