In a shining example of corporate support yielding remarkable results, Ada College of Education, proudly sponsored and mentored by Priority Insurance Company, has been crowned champions of the 2025 National Insurance Debate (Southern Zone).
Organized by the Insurance Awareness Coordinators Group (IACG) in collaboration with the National Insurance Commission (NIC), GIZ Ghana, Ghana Insurers Association (GIA), Insurance Brokers Association of Ghana (IBAG), and the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (CIIG), this year’s debate was held under the forward-thinking theme, “Think Future, Think Insurance.”
The Southern Zone contest featured eight competing tertiary institutions, culminating in a riveting final round where Ada College of Education triumphed over the University of Ghana Business School — a notable achievement for a teacher training institution.

Priority Insurance Company adopted Ada College of Education ahead of the competition, providing both sponsorship and strategic mentorship to prepare the team for the national stage.
The win not only positions Ada College of Education as a force in academic debate but also underscores the growing engagement of future educators in national conversations about financial security and risk management.
