According to the statement, police personnel have been deployed to key locations nationwide, with special focus on the Kwahu enclave, which is expected to attract large crowds due to its popular Easter events.

Security presence will cover event grounds, recreational centres, and major tourist sites, as well as areas likely to experience heavy human and vehicular traffic.

The Police further indicated that patrols have been intensified along major routes leading to and from Kwahu to enhance safety. Motor traffic officers have also been stationed on key roads to manage traffic flow and reduce congestion during the peak period.

In addition, intelligence-led operations have been activated across the country to detect and prevent criminal activities, ensuring swift response to any potential threats.

The Service urged the public to remain vigilant and cooperate fully with security personnel. Motorists have been advised to strictly adhere to road traffic regulations, avoid speeding and drunk driving, and comply with directives from officers on duty.

Citizens have also been encouraged to safeguard their personal belongings and promptly report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station.
