Ousmane Dembele of Paris Saint-Germain emerged as the biggest winner at the 2025 French Football Magazine Ballon D’Or Awards, despite FC Barcelona of Spain dominating the event.
The award was won by the French winger over Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, with Vitinha of PSG, Mohammed Salah of Liverpool, and Raphinha of Barcelona completing the top five.
Aitana Bonmati of FC Barcelona Women took home the Women’s Ballon D’Or Award in 2023 and 2024, marking her third consecutive win.
Lamine Yamal of FC Barcelona won the Kopa Award and was voted the young player of the year for the second consecutive year.
On the night that honors the most exceptional players of the 2024–2025 season, Vicky Lopez took home the female Kopa Award, giving the Catalan Club a double victory.
Both Luis Enrique, the head coach of Paris Saint-Germain, and Sarina Wiegman, the head coach of the England Women’s National Football Team, received the Johan Cruyff Award for Coach of the Year.
