The Ghana Police Service has arrested Elizabeth Akosua Ntiriwaa, also known as Akosua Black Chinese, in connection with the violent clashes during the football match between Nsoatreman FC and Kumasi Asante Kotoko FC on February 2, 2025.
Ntiriwaa becomes the sixth individual to be arrested concerning the incident, which resulted in one fatality.
She is currently in police custody and assisting with ongoing investigations.
The authorities have continued their intelligence-led operations, aiming to identify and apprehend all individuals involved in the disturbances.

In response to the violence, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) suspended all Premier League matches until the investigation is completed.
