The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has formally unveiled its amended constitution at a ceremony attended by national executives, party leaders, stakeholders and supporters from across the country.
The party described the launch as the start of a “new chapter” in its political journey, highlighting its commitment to strengthening internal governance and deepening democratic principles within its structures. Reaffirming its long-standing mantra, “Development in Freedom,” the NPP invited members and the wider public to engage with what it called a historic milestone.

At the event, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, running mate to Dr Mahamudu Bawumia in the 2024 election purchased the first copy of the amended constitution for GH¢50,000. Party officials said the gesture reflected loyalty and dedication to the party’s ideals.
The NPP believes the revised constitution will provide a stronger foundation for organisational cohesion and help shape its future political and developmental agenda.
