Following recent successes, Dr. Victor Asare Bampoe, CEO of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to provide Golden Arms, Ghana’s national Armwrestling team, with ongoing support. Following an outstanding medal haul, Dr. Bampoe commended the team’s achievements and called them a source of pride for the country.
During the 2023 Africa Games, he thought back on how the team’s incredible performance outperformed the rest of Africa and inspired national awe. He stated that in keeping with its backing of corporate Ghana, the NHIA is dedicated to funding Armwrestling to further the GAF’s goal of elevating the sport to a top national sport.
NHIA’s Deputy Chief Executive for Operations, Dr Senanu Djokoto, praised the team’s performance and leadership and reiterated the Authority’s willingness to strengthen the collaboration.
