Popular Ghanaian musician Mr Eazi has finally shared his thoughts on life after marrying Temi Otedola, daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola. Speaking on the 90s Baby Show, the singer revealed that his love story with Temi wasn’t built on wealth, but on connection and understanding.
According to him, Temi knew from the very beginning, back in 2017 when they first met, that he was going to be her man. At the time, Mr Eazi admits he was “hot” in music with songs streaming across the world, but his pockets weren’t exactly full.” I wasn’t where I am now, “he admitted. If it were about money, then she wouldn’t have chosen him, he confessed, stressing that Temi stood by him long before his global success and multiple investments.
Now, years later, Mr. Eazi says he has spread his wings into business, with investments in 10 companies across Africa, the Americas, and beyond. But even with his growth, he has learned an important lesson from the marriage: true wealth doesn’t make noise.“A Ghanaian proverb that says — ‘sika mpɛ dede’ (money doesn’t like noise). The people with real money and power, especially old money, don’t show off,” he reflected.
The couple tied the knot recently in what many have described as a fairytale union, but Mr Eazi insists that beyond the glamour, their marriage is built on something far deeper: mutual respect, commitment, and an agreement to build together.
