Mahama Represents Ghana at Paris Peace Forum in France

President John Dramani Mahama is in Paris for the 8th Paris Peace Forum, an international gathering that unites organizations and leaders to explore creative answers to global problems. From October 29 to October 30, 2025, the forum will be held.

The Egyptian president has invited President Mahama to Cairo, Egypt, to attend the Grand Egyptian Museum’s official opening on November 1, 2025, according to a statement released by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the president’s spokesperson and minister of government communications.

President John Dramani Mahama is scheduled to arrive back in Ghana on Sunday, November 2, 2025, after his engagements in Paris and Cairo.

During his absence, Vice President Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang will assume presidential responsibilities, as provided under Article 68 of Ghana’s Constitution, ensuring continuity in government operations.
