A young man whose tale is inspiring a whole generation is born in the sleepy town of Breman Asikuma in Ghana’s Central Region. With his 21-year-old bar admission, Nana Danquah Adjei Domson, Esq., has undoubtedly become Ghana’s youngest lawyer, a distinction that has astounded many and inspired pride in his community.
Danquah, who was born on April 12, 2004, has demonstrated constant intelligence and self-control throughout his life. His education started at Breman Asikuma Colonel Baidoo Basic School, where he finished basic school much ahead of most of his classmates at the age of twelve.
Soon after, he proceeded to Life International College in Tema, where he finished his secondary education at the age of 15. He had previously attended Breman Asikuma Senior High School.
Danquah was admitted to the University of Cape Coast’s Faculty of Law in 2019, while the majority of his peers were still in high school. He studied assiduously, combining the discipline of a true scholar with his young curiosity. He achieved a significant milestone in his legal career when he graduated with First Class Honours in 2023, four years later.
He went on to the Ghana School of Law at Makola after graduating from university, where he studied the ethics and practice of law for two rigorous years. At the young age of 21, Danquah accomplished something that many people may only imagine: he was formally admitted to the Ghana Bar on October 10, 2025.
Akpene Darko Cobbina, who became the youngest person to be called to the Ghanaian Bar prior to Danquah, was 22 years old in 2019. Sarah Adwoa Safo, who was called in 2004 at the age of 22, was the previous holder of the record. Now that Danquah has established a new standard, it might last for many years.
