Kwesi Official sets the record straight on the viral relationship with Akosua Diqson. Popular TikTok influencer and content creator Kwesi Official has finally addressed the reality behind his much-talked-about “relationship” with fellow creator Akosua Diqson. According to him, the supposed romance was nothing more than a carefully crafted media strategy.
Kwesi explained that, although their online chemistry drew massive attention, the bond was purely for content. “Though we were having this trend, it wasn’t healthy for me. If I ever denied it, the content would have died and people would have been disappointed,” he admitted.
He revealed that while their videos influenced Akosua’s style and thrilled followers, the truth behind the scenes was uncomfortable. “People believe what you make them believe,” he added, emphasizing how curated content can mislead audiences into thinking an online act is real.
Kwesi also shared that he had a real girlfriend during this period, who understood that his interactions with Akosua were just for show. However, he confessed it didn’t feel right continuing to appear publicly with someone else while in a real relationship.
Even the widely publicized “breakup” between him and Akosua was staged. The pair deliberately stopped engaging with each other’s posts to spark rumors, later appearing on Delay’s show to dramatize their supposed split. Kwesi now admits that the storyline was fabricated.
Reflecting on the entire experience, he expressed his exhaustion with the facade. “There comes a point in life where you feel you’ve had enough—you’ve done too much,” he said, making it clear he wants to move on from the clout-driven narrative.
Kwesi’s confession sheds light on the blurred lines between reality and entertainment in the digital space. It also highlights the responsibility influencers carry when shaping public perceptions and the impact such portrayals can have on their personal lives.
