Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement to sign West Ham United midfielder Mohammed Kudus for a fee of around £55 million ($74.7 million).
The Ghana international, 24, has accepted a six-year contract with Spurs, with a medical scheduled to take place within the next 48 hours. ESPN had earlier reported that West Ham rejected an initial £50 million ($67.9 million) bid from Spurs, despite the player’s £85 million release clause — which applies exclusively to Premier League clubs.
Kudus joined West Ham in 2023 from Dutch side Ajax and quickly became a key figure, attracting interest from Chelsea before emerging as a top target for new Spurs boss Thomas Frank this summer.
During his stint at West Ham, Kudus made 80 appearances, scoring 19 goals and providing 13 assists, establishing himself as one of the league’s most exciting midfield talents.
