The Office of the Registrar of Companies has announced that fees for its services will rise beginning Monday, February 2, 2026, in accordance with new government regulations.

The adjustment, officials said, is mandated by the Fees and Charges (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations, 2025 (L.I. 2512), which requires public institutions to periodically review the cost of services they provide.

The increase will apply across the Registrar’s operations nationwide, including company incorporation, business name registration and related filings. The Office described the revision as part of a broader effort to ensure sustainable service delivery and enhance customer experience.

While the new rates were not disclosed in the notice, the Registrar pledged to publish a full schedule of charges on its official website and at all branch offices before the effective date. Businesses and individuals were advised to plan accordingly for transactions after the changes take effect.

The announcement comes as part of a wider compliance drive among state agencies. Just last week, the National Identification Authority confirmed higher fees for some of its services, citing the need to maintain and improve service quality.

Together, the adjustments reflect a nationwide push to align public-sector charges with the framework established by Parliament in 2025.
