The National Identification Authority announced on Wednesday that it will increase fees for a range of services tied to the Ghana Card, citing the need to maintain and improve the quality of its operations.

In a statement posted on its official Facebook page, the Authority said the adjustment would apply to first-time registrations, updates to personal information, card replacements, nationality changes, and the registration of non-citizens.

Officials emphasized that the new charges, which take immediate effect, are intended to ensure the sustainability and efficiency of the agency’s service delivery. The Authority urged the public to take note of the changes and prepare accordingly.
