Kwaku Ohene Gyan, the former Deputy Director of Operations at Ghana’s National Service Authority (NSA), was reportedly detained by the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) on Saturday evening.

The detention, which took place in Kawukudi, remains shrouded in mystery, as the authorities have not disclosed the specific reasons for his arrest.

Mr.Ohene Gyan, widely known by his title Osonoba, is currently being held at NIB’s offices, with his legal team scheduled to meet with him on Sunday to assess the situation and determine the potential legal avenues for his release.

At this stage, it remains unclear whether his detention is connected to the ongoing scandal involving the NSA, further raising speculation about the underlying motivations behind the move.
