More than two hundred and fifty (250) newly admitted students at Entrance University of Health Sciences (EUHS) have been formally matriculated for the 2025/2026 academic year. The ceremony officially inducted the fresh students into the University community and marked the beginning of their academic journey in the health sciences.

The students were admitted into the University’s various undergraduate programmes, namely: Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing)

Administering the matriculation oath, the University’s Registrar, Mr. Samuel Apeawin, charged the students to uphold and observe the regulations of the University, pursue their studies diligently, and at all times promote the good name of the institution.

Welcoming the students on behalf of the Governing Council and the entire University community, the President of EUHS, Prof. Aaron Lante Lawson, congratulated them on securing admission and reminded them that the matriculation ceremony and oath signified their commitment to uphold the values, discipline, and standards of the University.

Your matriculation marks the beginning of a transformative journey in your lives, a journey of intellectual discovery, character formation, leadership development and purposeful service,” he stated.

The Founder and Chancellor, Elder Dr. Samuel Nana Amo Tobin, also encouraged the students to use their newfound freedom wisely, cautioning that while university life offers independence, it must be managed with responsibility and focus. Expressing optimism about their future, he described the students as future professionals, innovators, entrepreneurs, and nation builders whose decisions in the coming years would shape not only their destinies but that of the nation.

As part of the ceremony, fresh students of the School of Nursing took the Nurses’ Pledge, committing themselves to ethical practice and dedicated service throughout their clinical training in health facilities across the country.
