Sports analyst Edward Gyasi has criticised the timing of the decision by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to part ways with former Black Stars head coach Otto Addo.
Speaking in an interview on Noon Target on Bullet TV, Mr. Gyasi suggested that internal interference may have affected the coach’s tenure.
“Otto Addo is the darling boy of the GFA. If not for the interference of Kurt and other members, he would have left a mark,” he stated.
He also expressed concern about the timing of the decision, describing it as delayed.
“I think the decision to sack Otto Addo is too late,” he added.
His comments add to the ongoing public debate surrounding the dismissal of the Black Stars coach, with many analysts and fans divided over the decision and its timing.
