The Constitution Review Committee (CRC) will today, Monday, November 24, present its final report to President John Dramani Mahama at the Presidency in Accra.
The eight-member Committee, chaired by Professor H. Kwasi Prempeh, Executive Director of the Ghana Centre for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana), was tasked by the President to lead a comprehensive review of the 1992 Constitution.
According to the Presidency, the presentation of the report will take place at 1:00 p.m. at the Jubilee House.
Members of the Committee
The Committee includes, Justice Sophia Adinyira, former Supreme Court Judge; Professor Kwame Karikari; Charlotte Osei; Dr. Godwin Djokoto; Ibrahim Tanko Amidu; Dr. Esi Ansah; Dr. Rainer Akumperigeya.
The team was inaugurated on January 30 and was initially expected to submit its findings in August 2025. However, due to the extensive nature of the work and the volume of submissions received, the CRC requested and was granted an additional three months.
