The actress also rejected the idea of becoming Nwoko’s seventh wife, making it clear that polygamy is not part of her future plans. “I’ve said before, I’m not about to be anyone’s seventh wife! Polygamy isn’t for me,” she continued, adding that she had kept her pregnancy private until now, further reinforcing that the public would not be privy to the details of her personal life

Nollywood actress Chika Ike has publicly denied rumors linking her pregnancy to Nigerian politician Prince Ned Nwoko, rejecting speculation that he is the father of her unborn child and dismissing the notion that she plans to marry him.

In a post shared on Instagram on February 18, 2025, alongside images from her pregnancy photoshoot, Ike addressed the ongoing media rumors. She emphasized her long-standing practice of ignoring unfounded speculation, but stated that this particular rumor, involving her unborn child, needed to be addressed to protect her child’s reputation.

“There have been all sorts of lies peddled about me in the media for years, but I always treated them like what they are, rumors that need no response,” Ike wrote. “But this is different; this is about my child. Ned isn’t the father of my child, and whoever’s name you might come up with later in your guessing games, you are wrong.”

On February 17, 2025, Prince Ned Nwoko issued a statement addressing the rumors, confirming that he has no intention of marrying Ike or adding her to his list of wives.
