The Chief of Staff, Mr Julius Debrah, has instructed heads of government institutions to nullify all appointments made after December 7, 2024, by the former Akufo-Addo administration.
A circular dated February 10, 2025, and addressed to government leaders, emphasised that these appointments violate principles of good governance.
The communication noted that the appointments, made after the December 2024 deadline, were not in accordance with established government practices.
In the letter, Mr Debrah directed officials to annul any such appointments and to submit a full report on the actions taken by February 17, 2025.
The directive comes as part of broader efforts to ensure proper governance in the transition period.
