Paul Baffoe Bonnie, Chief Justice, has urged the judiciary to get useful assistance. He desires improved security for judicial staff, safe office space for the judiciary, and expedited clearance to hire more employees and specialists.

During a courtesy visit to Parliament on Monday, January 26, Chief Justice Paul Baffoe Bonnie outlined his vision for strengthening justice delivery in Ghana.

He also highlighted reforms in legal education, emphasising the need for training programmes that reflect evolving legal practice and technological innovation.

The engagement was characterised by mutual respect and a shared commitment to public service, with both leaders underscoring the importance of dialogue, targeted reforms and sustained investment in institutions that uphold justice.

In his welcome remarks, Speaker Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin described the visit as historic and said it represented a call for closer collaboration between the two arms of government in consolidating Ghana’s democratic governance.
