The Tobinco Media Group (TMG) has marked the first anniversary of Bullet TV in grand style with the historic launch of Ghana’s first-ever AI newscaster, named Margaret Tobin. The innovation was unveiled during the station’s anniversary celebration at the TMG premises.
Named in honour of the late mother of the Executive Chairman of the Tobinco Group of Companies, Elder Samuel Amo Tobin I, Margaret Tobin represents a bold leap forward in Ghana’s media and technological evolution.
TMG describes the introduction of the AI newscaster as a strategic move designed to enhance storytelling, improve workflow, and complement the human news team—not replace them. According to the Group, Margaret Tobin will step in to read the news when female presenters are on leave or unavailable, ensuring seamless continuity in broadcasting.
