On Sunday, October 5, 2025, Ghana’s senior national team, known as the Black Stars, will begin practicing in anticipation of the final two games in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying round.
The team is preparing for important matches later this month against Comoros and the Central African Republic.
In an interview on Woezor TV’s Arena, Ghana Football Association (GFA) Communications Director Henry Asante Twum verified the camp itinerary.
According to Asante Twum, the arrival of players will be staggered: those in action on Saturday will check into camp the following day, while those playing on Sunday will join on Monday.
He further revealed that the locally based players named in the squad will meet the technical team and the rest of the delegation in Morocco before the team’s opening match.
Asante Twum revealed that Otto Addo has not only named but also defended his squad for the World Cup qualifiers. The Black Stars’ campaign resumes with an away clash against the Central African Republic at Stade d’Honneur de Meknes on October 8 at 16:00 GMT.
Four days later, they return to Accra to welcome Comoros in a crucial home fixture as the race to the 2026 FIFA World Cup intensifies.
