Ghana’s Black Queens have arrived in Casablanca for their much-anticipated friendly match against Morocco, set for Friday, February 21.
This will mark the first major test for newly appointed head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren following his recent unveiling.
The team departed Accra on Saturday, February 15, and have now begun preparations for the upcoming encounter.
Bjorkegren wasted no time in naming his squad for the friendly, with only four players from the Ghana Women’s Premier League making the cut.
As of Monday, February 17, 18 players are in camp, with the team set to begin their first training session ahead of the match, with more sessions lined up as they gear up for the challenge.
