A group of individuals dressed in military uniforms raided the residence of former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred in Cantonments, a high-security area in Accra, while Mr Ofori-Atta was reportedly out of the country.
However, some family members, including his wife, were present at the time.
The motive for the raid remains unclear.
Channel One reported that multiple uniformed individuals entered the premises, but it is not yet known whether anything was taken.
The authorities have not yet issued an official statement on the incident.
