Award-winning Ghanaian actress Jackie Appiah has added another feather to her cap, graduating with a Master of Arts (MA) in Communication Studies from the University of Ghana on February 12, 2025.
In a video shared by blogger Zionfelix, Jackie was seen arriving at the campus with a beaming smile, walking gracefully toward the congregation hall.
The ceremony marked a significant academic milestone for the beloved actress, who was joined by her manager, Samira Yakubu, who also earned her MA in Communication Studies.
The two women, both celebrated in their respective fields, were surrounded by friends and family, including actress Kalsoume Sinare, who herself graduated with a Master’s from GIMPA in 2023.
Jackie’s latest achievement comes just three years after she completed her first degree at the University of Ghana.
In February 2022, Jackie and her manager graduated together with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Information Studies, a journey that they both embarked on side by side.
The actress, known for her roles in numerous films and TV shows, has long been admired for balancing her successful career with her academic pursuits, setting a powerful example for others in the entertainment industry.
