Finance Minister Cassiel Ato Forson is expected to present the 2025 Budget to Parliament on 10 March 2025.
The proposed date has been submitted to Parliament for consideration, but it remains subject to approval depending on developments in the House.
Under the country’s Financial Administration Act, the budget must be presented before 31 March 2025.
In January, Parliament approved an Expenditure in Advance of Appropriation, allowing the government to spend GH₵68.1 billion from January to March 2025.
The measure ensures the smooth running of state affairs while the full budget is being prepared.
Meanwhile, the Finance Ministry has issued spending guidelines to various ministries to help set targets and shape programme priorities for the 2025 fiscal year.
