The Ministry of Health has announced the commencement of applications for admission into public health training institutions for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The application process covers Degree, Diploma, and Certificate programmes across accredited health training schools nationwide.
The online admissions portal will officially open on Wednesday, 20 May 2026 at 10:00 a.m. and close on Friday, 12 June 2026, giving eligible candidates a limited window to apply.
The Ministry emphasised that applicants must ensure the use of their personal Ghana Card number, an active mobile phone number, and a valid email address throughout the application process.
It cautioned that the use of another person’s identification details, including Ghana Card numbers or email addresses, will not be accepted and may lead to disqualification.
Applicants are also required to provide additional personal information, including their residential address and Ghana Post Digital Address, as part of the registration process.
All communication relating to admissions, including updates and notifications, will be conducted strictly via SMS or email, eliminating the need for physical correspondence.
After purchasing the voucher, applicants are expected to log onto the official portal using the provided PIN and serial number to access the application form.
The Ministry noted that the form must be completed carefully and submitted online, as incomplete or inaccurate submissions could negatively affect an applicant’s chances of admission.
The Ministry further indicated that applicants who meet the required academic and institutional criteria will be shortlisted and invited to take part in a competitive selection interview at their chosen training institution.
It also reminded applicants that all application vouchers remain valid until 19 June 2026, provided they have not been used, and urged candidates to adhere strictly to all guidelines to avoid disqualification.
The Ministry encouraged all prospective applicants to rely only on official communication channels for updates and enquiries throughout the admission period.
