Reports from Ejisu indicate that some individuals believed to be members of the National Democratic Congress have allegedly stormed and locked up the local office of the National Health Insurance Authority.
The incident reportedly occurred on Monday afternoon, drawing attention from residents and local authorities.
According to sources, the individuals involved claimed that the newly appointed manager of the office is a stranger to the area and insisted that someone from Ejisu should be appointed to head the facility instead.

Mr. Amoateng stated that the identities of the individuals responsible for the action have not yet been established.
He further indicated that an official complaint has been lodged with the Ghana Police Service in Ejisu, and investigations are expected to determine those behind the incident.
