Madam Cecilia Amankwah, Country Director of Engage Now Africa, has called on Ghanaians to take pride in the nation’s progress while renewing commitment to building a stronger future for the next generation.
She made the remarks at the grand launch of TMG Heritage Connect; a platform aimed at promoting cultural heritage, identity, and intergenerational responsibility.
“We have come a long way, and we should be proud of ourselves. We shouldn’t be too hard on ourselves,” Madam Amankwah said. “At the same time, we must remember that there is still a lot to do to make the next generation proud.”
Her comments underscored the need for balanced reflection celebrating achievements while confronting remaining challenges in national development, cultural preservation, and youth empowerment.
The launch of TMG Heritage Connect brought together stakeholders from culture, education, civil society and community leadership, all united by a shared vision of strengthening heritage consciousness and inspiring future generations to build on the foundations laid today.
