A fire broke out at near the VVIP Station at Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. The cause of the blaze, the extent of damage, and any possible injuries are not yet known.

The Ghana National Fire Service is working to contain the fire and stop it from spreading.

Motorists and pedestrians have been advised to avoid the area to allow responders to manage the situation safely.

This is the second fire reported at Kwame Nkrumah Circle in January 2026.
