Former Managing Director of Ecobank Tanzania, Enoch Osei-Safo, has commended Bullet TV and the Tobinco Media Group for what he described as their “critical role” in strengthening Ghana’s democracy through responsible and impactful journalism.
He made the remarks while delivering a solidarity message at an event held to mark the first anniversary of Bullet TV.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Osei-Safo expressed his admiration for the rapid progress the media outfit has made within just a year of operations.
“It’s my biggest pleasure to be here. I want to say a big congratulations to Tobinco Media on your one-year anniversary,” – he said.
He noted that Ghana’s democratic journey is still evolving, and media organisations such as Bullet TV play an indispensable part in shaping national dialogue and promoting accountability.
“Everybody is aware that our democracy is still maturing, and the role your group is playing in this journey is very critical. So don’t rest on your laurels — keep it up,” he urged.
Describing the station as a “trailblazer,” Mr. Osei-Safo encouraged the team to maintain their standards and continue setting the pace for others in the industry.
“Let the rest realise that you are a trailblazer and let them follow you. I wish you all the best,” he added.
The anniversary event brought together media practitioners, corporate leaders, and supporters of Bullet TV, who gathered to celebrate the station’s achievements and reaffirm its mission to provide bold, credible, and people-centered journalism.
